Dogs are considered the most loyal friend of man, that is why a special ceremony is celebrated in Nepal in his honor… It is called Kukur Tihar.
On this day dogs are worshiped as angels for their loyalty. Under Kukur Tihar, many dishes are fed to dogs by taking off tilak-garland and aarti. Perhaps such a day should be celebrated in India too.
