In order to reach your goals, you have to take a certain number of steps (actions) to get there.
By taking these steps, you will naturally run into problems. But, as we all know by now, the best way to learn is to experience something yourself.
There is no possible way you can accurately predict and prevent every potential problem. And, even if you could, you wouldn’t be able to truly understand the problem unless you experienced the problem.
For example, imagine that someone taught you how to fix a toaster, but
you’ve never even looked at a toaster before. Situations are completely different from an outside perspective compared to when you’re facing them head on.
The overall point is that planning for every potential problem before you take action will not help you succeed.
It will either lengthen the time it takes you to reach your goal, or you’ll never reach your goal at all, similar to Ben in the above example.
If you want to advance in your field or your business, you must stop thinking about it and stop planning it, and just take action.
